Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas! Hope you all did, too.

A few pics of our house. We didn't have any visitors this year :-)

It was a lot of fun to have FIVE kids at the Bolt house this year.
One 4 1/2 yr old, two 3 yr olds, and two infants. They were all so happy to open gifts and their faces (as well as Evan's dances) were priceless.

Kyler's present from Santa - a car garage:

The girls were impressed with it, too :-)

We were so blessed to spend such quality time with family as well as enjoying delicious (although excessive) food and really nice gifts. Thanks to EVERYONE!!

Grandma Great had a nice time with us, too. She sure loves having all the kids around!

And when I got home, I thought I'd attempt a "thank you" photo. It's pretty tough to get both kids looking happy at the same time! I thought I'd post these as they just crack me up :-)

Nora looking like a chubbet :-) (soooooo cute!!!)

Kyler happy; Nora confused ("what is that weird thing mom keeps pointing at us??")
Kyler is over the situation; Nora charms

Oh well.. we've been having fun just getting settled back into New Hope.
On New Year's Eve, all 4 of us went over to Derick & Sara LaPointe's house. They live just down the street so we thought we'd try and attend their party. Nora slept in her carseat the whole time (the short drive there was right during bedtime) and Kyler played for awhile before coming to me and saying, "I'm tired. Ready for the movie on the bed."
So, he watched a couple of dvd's in his pjs in one of their guest rooms while the adults had some drinks & food. Because it didn't seem likely that he was going to fall asleep (there was another family with kids there and around 10pm they decided to join Kyler for the movie), we headed home before midnight.
We ended up getting home by 10:30 but it was great! Chris and I then hung out together, talked about the year to come and toasted with amazing champagne (thanks to Steve Frank) at the first few minutes of the new year.

Happy 2013 everyone!
